B.C. removes sore throat, runny nose from daily symptom checklist for students; Alberta to keep list as is
The B.C. government has updated its daily health checklist for parents monitoring their children for signs of COVID-19 before they go to school each morning.
Initially, the list included as many as 17 symptoms. Ten were removed, including sore throat, runny nose, headache and fatigue.
“This was a recommendation from public health to remove some of the symptoms, given the very low probability of these symptoms by themselves indicating COVID,” the ministry said in an e-mailed statement, CBC reports.
